A Lifestyle Crafts Wedding: Favors

Today is all about the wedding favor!  We created these personalized favor bags using the Bag die.  We plan to fill these little bags with a sweet treat for the guests to snack on.

This image displays everything you need to make these bags!  The Bag die, cardstock of your choice, labels (printed on my home computer), and ribbon.  You'll also need adhesive to put it all together.

This image displays the shapes cut out with the Bag die.  All that's left is to assemble it all together!

The final product!  These bags are simple, classy, and very easy to make.  You could make a large amount in no time.

Next week we'll show you some of the table details (menu, placecards, ect).  Stay tuned!

Remember part 1 of this series? The fun save the date cards? Check them out here.

A Lifestyle Crafts Wedding: Save the Date Cards

We've got a wedding coming up here at Lifestyle Crafts! Lucky for us, we have all of the best resources for making beautiful wedding details. This series will feature everything you need to plan a wedding. First up, we tackled the save the date cards. We used the following dies to make these:

-Disc Case (in this case, it's acting as an envelope)
-Nesting Doily Squares (we nested the save the date card on this)
-Nesting Doily Ovals (for the label on the front)

We knew we wanted these cards to be simple because we needed about 100 cards to send out.  The Disc Case die is perfect to house an invitation or card.  When I first saw this die, I didn't think to use it for anything else but an actual disc case. I love the possibilities! After the card was designed, we printed it and mounted it on the Nesting Doily Squares. I love these doily nesting dies for a wedding- I can't wait to use these throughout the whole event!  We finished off the card with a matching label cut out of the Nesting Doily Oval die and a simple ribbon.  I think the guests will love getting these in the mail.

Next week we'll talk about the wedding favors!  Stay tuned.

The Wooden Wedding

Today we're sharing the Wooden Wedding, another event made possible with the Custom Printing Plate Program. This theme was designed for a couple from the Northwest who both enjoy the outdoors. You'll notice a pattern of earth tones and simple typography.  Twigs from the backyard were gathered to tie the "wooden" theme all together.  See below for products used on each portion of this event.

Today we would like to share some letterpressed wedding invitations done with the Custom Printing Plate Program. This particular invite is very unique and has incorporated a few different products that we'll be sharing in the tutorial tips below.

1. This bride ordered a Custom Printing Plate which included the wording on the invite. She printed the wording with Teal Blue Ink.
2. Using the Jubilee printing plate and Red Ink, she printed the pattern on the bottom portion of her invites.
3. Using the Adjustable Belly Band to add dimension to her invite, she printed part of the invite on the belly band and wrapped it around the invite.
4. She wanted a unique way to mail her invites, so she ordered muslin bags and with the L Letterpress, printed their names on the bags using the custom printing plate. The finished product is beautiful!
Using the convenience of the L Letterpress, she was able to print her entire invitation (including the muslin bags)!

Products used:
Jubilee Printing Plate
Adjustable Belly Band
A7 Letterpress Paper (Flat Cards)
Red Ink
Teal Blue Ink
