DIY Letterpressed Business Cards

DIY letterpress business card

Don't you just love letterpress?

Dating back to the 15th century, the letterpress technique adds an elegant and professional dimension to your images and words by impressing ink deeply into thick, soft paper. This technique creates a unique texture that cannot be achieved with stamping, ink or even laser printers.

Previously unavailable to at-home-do-it-yourselfers, letterpress once required large machinery, metal type casts, and heavy ink rollers.

Letterpress has now been compacted for easy use at home with the creation of the L Letterpress, a small DIY letterpress platform designed to be used in most major die cutting machines.

Here at Lifestyle Crafts, we offer stunningly beautiful letterpress printing plates as well as custom letterpress printing plates to be used with the L Letterpress platform, making the possibilities endless.

These business cards were created by Laura at Copper Top using a custom printing plate (only $39.99)! If you can imagine it, we can make it into a custom printing plate.

After using her custom printing plate, Laura used the Business Card Holder die to add a nice, polished finish to her custom Copper Top business cards. They look wonderful!
