Laura here! Thanks for joining me today as I share something I've made lately. Due to the I Made This Challenge, everyone in the office has been making all sorts of fun projects. Here is what I came up with. I have several newlywed friends so I decided to make them each a New Year's Party in a Box for two as a Christmas gift. I used the new Countdown New Year's cutting dies from Lifestyle Crafts, which I am so in love with. When I was working on this product release, I knew these shapes were going to be a hit with my fellow party planners out there. I hope you like them as much as I do!

I bought a square box in kraft and then die cut the "Happy New Year" using the Celebrate cutting die alphabet then pasted it on the top. Connect the letters with brads or twine.

It was so fun and quick to make. I hope my newlywed pals will ring in the new year with this little box of goodies. I made one for myself....now to find someone for when the clock strikes 12...
We have more Countdown projects to show you today! Once again, I am amazed by the versatility of these dies. My favorite project in this bunch is the party favor cone (4th project) because I would have never thought to use the Party Hat die as a treat holder. This project would be so fun for a wedding! All of these projects are so unique and festive. It's so fun to see how the dies are used differently between designers.

Have you entered this week's I Made This giveaway? The giveaway is for a $500 shopping spree to Lifestyle Crafts and it closes at midnight tonight! See details here.
The design team did a great job with coming up with fun ideas for the Countdown release. These dies are excellent in a sense that they can be used for New Years festivities, but also work well for parties in general. Click each image for a list of products used. You can also see more projects here. Enjoy!
I think my favorite shape in this release would have to be the Celebrate alphabet. I would use it for so many different projects: garlands, on a layout or card, in a cupcake, on a gift, ect. What is your favorite?
The countdown is over... new shapes have arrived! The Countdown release is full of shapes to help you celebrate not only the new year, but any sort of celebration!
Check out the shapes here and see design team projects here.
Per usual, we will be sharing some fabulous project ideas this week. Stay tuned!
