A Great Idea from our friends at Eighteen 25.

When we saw this idea over at Eighteen 25, we instantly fell in love! It's perfect for those who need a card for a loved one who is graduating from high school or college. You could also switch the wording up a bit and use it as a birthday card. See below for a peek at the process of how this card was made. Thanks for sharing Eighteen 25!  Check out their blog for fun crafting inspiration.

Oliver's Birthday Party

Oliver's birthday party was a lot of fun to put together. We took it to the National Stationery Show for display and as a result, we all ate way too many Peachy-O's and had to refill the container a few times. We decided to go for an 'O' theme and base the decor off of circles. Lucky for us, Lifestyle Crafts carries a whole lot of products to coordinate with this theme. Our staples were the Bubbly Letterpress Printing Plate and Rings Border die.

Invitations: Using an A7 flat card, we printed the circle pattern with the Bubbly Printing Plate and the rest with a Custom Printing Plate.

Bottle Wrap: Orange sodas were a perfect fit for the color scheme and we wrapped the bottle with the Rings border die.

Favor: What better treat than a Peachy O for Oliver's party? We put these treats inside the Rectangle Box die cut out of Plastic Sheets and added the 'Thank You' with a skewer. It was printed with a Custom Printing Plate and cut out with the Hello.Goodbye Shapes.

Garland: We cut out a bunch of the Rings border die to make a garland to hang for decor.

Straw Holder: The Popcorn Box die makes an excellent straw holder. A soda bottle isn't complete without a cute straw to go along with it, right? I cut the circle out of a scrap piece of the Bubbly Printing Plate pattern.

Cupcake: We used the Ring Cupcake Liner and topped it off with a snippet of the Rings border die.

Have you been wanting to buy a tool but haven't yet?  Now is the time because all of our tools are on sale for the holiday weekend!  If you're confused about which tool is best for you, read over the following descriptions:

Letterpress Combo Kit
The combo kit is for you if you don't already own a die-cutting tool. Included in this kit is the Epic Six tool and everything you need to die-cut, emboss, and letterpress.

Letterpress Starter Kit
If you have a roller tool, the starter kit has everything you need to make letterpress cards right out of the box. This kit works with the Big Shot and Cuddlebug. Included is the letterpress platform and everything you need to make cards right out of the box!

Epic Six Tool
If you are strictly a die-cutter only, you'll want to pick up the Epic Six Tool. This tool has the capability to die-cut and emboss. With this tool, you'll receive the tool itself, cutting and embossing platforms, and a cutting mat. All of our dies are compatible with this tool.

Revolution
The Revolution is also a die-cutting tool but does not have letterpress capabilities. The Revolution is durable and compact with only a 4" wide magnetic platform. It is for use with dies smaller than 4" wide.  4" x 12" platform and cutting mat is available for purchase here and here.

Would you like to see some of our recent letterpress projects that have come in from the design team?  Below are a couple of great cards that we took to display at the stationery show. This first card is by designer Heather Adams.  I love the yellow/grey color scheme and the border die wrapped around the letterpressed card is perfect. The second card is by Carissa Wiley and this card is unique because she used two different colors to print the letterpress pattern.  The grey/pink is so complimentary and I love how striking this card is!  Products used: Letterpress Combo Kit, Blossoms Printing Plate, Petals Border Die, Splendor Printing Plate, Nesting Labels, Grey Ink, Square Flat Card Letterpress Paper
